It’s common now for kids to grow up in multicultural homes. That’s how Seattle’s Alyssa London was raised. And as a member of the Tlingit-Haida tribe, she faced challenges growing up. She’s the author of a new children’s book she hopes will help kids embrace their heritage. Other Native people, the Upper Skagit Indian Tribe, are grateful after Seattle City Light returned hundreds of artifacts discovered at one of the utility’s work sites. And see how ordinary patients helped design a new Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center facility. Host Tatevik Aprikyan has these stories from MOHAI, the Museum of History and Industry.
