After years of planning and construction, Seattle Aquarium’s new Ocean Pavilion has opened its doors to the world. Situated at the base of the new Overlook Walk – connecting Pike Place Market to the waterfront – the Pavilion is a stone’s throw from the main Seattle Aquarium building. The new showcase includes a half-million-gallon tank that gives visitors a close-up view of leopard sharks, eagles rays, and even a bowmouth guitarfish! Seattle Aquarium’s Chief Operating Officer Meg McCann shares much more about the new Ocean Pavilion with CityStream host Dennis Bounds.
