The Seattle FIFA World Cup 26TM Local Organizing Committee (SeattleFWC26) celebrates a milestone date– 500 days until the opening FIFA World Cup 26TM match–with a gathering of civic and business leaders to announce specific small business and community support initiatives. In particular, SeattleFWC26 is prioritizing engagement with the three neighborhoods surrounding Lumen Field - Chinatown-International District (CID), SODO, and Pioneer Square—and providing a statewide small business toolkit, all with the goals of increasing exposure and opportunity throughout the tournament, and building a positive legacy of economic opportunity long after the final whistle.

Speakers and attendees include:
Mayor Bruce Harrell, City of Seattle
David Young, SeattleFWC26 Board member and Chief Operating Officer at First and Goal
Lisa Howard, Executive Director, Pioneer Square Alliance
Jaime Lee or An Huynh, Co-Executive Director, Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority
Erin Goodman, Executive Director, SODO BIA
Rachel Smith, CEO of the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce
