The Department of Neighborhoods (DON) 2025 Open House: all about connection, collaboration, and community power. This open house allowed the public to hold conversations with DON staff, exchange fresh ideas, enjoy delicious local bites, and the chance to meet the people and areas of service shaping Seattle’s neighborhoods. The open house was a celebration of the many ways DON can work in collaboration with community to strengthen Seattle's communities and City of Seattle government. The open house also shined a spotlight on how DON and the public can work together across departments and communities to make Seattle stronger, more inclusive, and more deeply connected.
